2026 uOttawa Employee BBQ

The Annual Employee BBQ is back! Come socialize with your colleagues and meet staff and faculty members from across all faculties and services. This year, the event is not only a great opportunity to kick off the new academic year, but also to strengthen connections within our community.

IT'S FREE! You can choose from the following meal options:

• Classic: hamburger or hot dog, choice of salads, chips, cookies, and a beverage.
• Vegetarian: veggie burger, choice of salads, chips, cookies, and a beverage.

For your information, the hamburgers served at the event will be halal.

Due to the nature of the event, we are unable to accommodate special requests related to dietary preferences, dietary restrictions, or allergies. The menu offered will be limited to the options listed above.

Attendance and Cancellation

As the number of tickets is limited, we kindly ask that you honor your registration. If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration using the link provided in your confirmation email.

Don't forget to bring your ticket (QR code), which is attached to the confirmation email.

Parking

Individuals coming from other campuses are encouraged to park in their usual parking area and use the shuttle service.

If you prefer to park closer to the event venue, please consult the parking and transportation map.

In the Event of Rain

In case of rain, the event will take place at the Terminus, located on the second floor of the University Centre..
